It is 160 bedded hospital providing indoor and outdoor services in Medicine, Surgery, Gynae obs, Paediatrics, ENT & Eye. Deptt. of Anaesthesia, Radiology and Pathology are fully functioning. Health and Education Foundation, Lahore, Pakistan

    The Health and Education Foundation  is registered as a non-profit organization within the meaning of Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.  The Foundation was incorporated vide registration No 0063545 dated 20-08-2007 by the SECP, Lahore, Pakistan.                            

    The main objectives of the Foundation are to aid, assist, set-up, maintain, administer and run Medical Colleges, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, mother and Child Care Centers, Clinics, Dispensaries, immunization and vaccination centers etc. To establish, manage, maintain, own administer and subsidize educational institutions etc.       

   The Foundation is so far meeting its objects through the internal contributions from its Members/ Trustees. Its indigenous Projects include Central Park Medical College (CPMC) Lahore and a 650 bed Foundation Hospital astride CPMC Lahore.

The Foundation is also sponsoring scholarships to a number of students of Medical Sciences.  

Central Park Medical College https://www.cpmc.edu.pk/ has been established since 2008.  It occupies it’s own 23 acre site with full infrastructure which is part of a total 1,200 acre site that is fully established with retail, office and residential developments and comprises a 300 bed hospital, a Medical School, Nursing College and accommodations for all students. The Board is multifaceted across many skill bases with significant gravitas in Education with every tutor and Head of Department at Professorial level. CPMC has graduated some 100 Medical Doctors per annum since 2013. Strength of students has now been increased to 150.

Chairman

Mian Tahir Javed is one of the trustees and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Health and Education Foundation. He is great name in the real estate business. He is Chairman of Urban Developers, a real estate organization which has developed many commercial and residential projects nationally and internationally.
 He always dreamt of doing something extraordinary in the realms of education, an often underrated, yet essential, focus of our society. This became a reality when he joined hands with several forward-thinking United Kingdom based doctors who had similar aspirations. This collaboration was made possible with additional contribution from several philanthropists and advocates of high quality education based in Pakistan other  counties such as the United Arab Emirates and the United States. All the partners in the project, therefore complimented one another in this endeavour.

VICE CHAIRMAN

Prof Dr. Asif Abbas Naqvi

Prof Dr. Asif Abbas Naqvi is Prof. of Medicine, Chief Executive H&EF and DEAN of CPMC. Graduated From King Edward Medical College Lahore in 1977.

He did MRCP in 1981,has fellowship from London and Glasgow. He was awarded honorary fellow ship from College of Physician and Surgeons of Pakistan.

He is a senior lecturer at Sheffield Medical School and Hull York Medical School. He is a practicing consultant gastroenterologist, at Diana Princess of wales Hospital, UK. His other assignment is foundation programme dire ctor (Post graduate training Programme in the UK).

His last assignment in Pakistan was Professor of Medicine with Government of Punjab and he has worked in King Edward Medical College and Allama lqbal Medical College, Lahore as Associate and Assistant Professorof Medicine. Member of British Society of Gastroenterology and is an examiner for Royal College of Physicians of United Kingdom for MRCP and for the MBBS course of Universityof Sheffield.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amer Mian

MBBS, FCPS, CHPE
Principal, Central Park Medical College

Prof Muhammad Amer Mian graduated from the 5th MBBS course of Army Medical College in 1985. He was commissioned in the Army Medical Corps as captain and after basic military training did house job from CMH Rawalpindi and then was deployed to the front line in Kashmir. He joined a surgical career in 1989 and worked as a graded surgeon at CMH Lahore and a field unit in interior Sindh. He Did FCPS (Pak) in general surgery in 1995. And ever since then has been practising surgery in the different hospitals of the Armed Forces. He became a supervisor for FCPS part II in 2000 and worked in various teaching hospitals including Combined Military Hospital, Rawalpindi and Combined Military Hospital Lahore and their associated medical colleges.

He taught postgraduates in surgery, undergraduates of MBBS, nurses and paramedics at Army Medical College, and Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, CMH Medical College Lahore and Central Park Medical College. While at CMH Lahore Medical College, he was promoted to Professor of Surgery and retired from the same hospital/college in 2013. Immediately post-retirement he joined Central Park Medical College as Professor and Head of Surgery and left briefly for CMH Lahore Medical College this year and now has re-joined Central Park Medical College as Principal. To his credit is the initiation of modern-day laparoscopic surgery in the Armed forces, the fruits of which are now evident. He was also instrumental in the initial planning of the infrastructure of the present CMH Rawalpindi setup. He is certified in Health Professionals Education and has a passion to impart clinical knowledge and skills.

Brigadier Farrukh Hummayoun Butt (Retd)  is a graduate from Command & Staff College Quetta, served in the Pakistan Army for over 30 years where he held various command and staff appointments. He has vast experience in the fields of Administration, Organisational Management and Corporate Restructuring. He has been associated with the Health & Education Foundation and Central Park Medical College since 2010. Presently he is working with  Urban Developers Chartered Town Planners as Member Corporate  and also associated with the H&EF as Secretary H&EF as gratis.
